Vista Sector is a resource website for the upcoming operating system from Microsoft, Windows Vista. The design is very Microsoft-esque giving users familiarity and ease of use. It runs off a bespoke CMS, allowing administrators to easily add/edit/delete news, articles, multiple page tutorials, galleries and more...

The following lists provide information on what the admins can do.

Administration Panel

• News and articles can be easily posted and then edited or deleted if needed.
• Add/edit/delete categories for news and articles.
• Tutorials can be posted which are also able to be split into multiple pages. They can also be edited or deleted.
• Galleries can be added, an image uploader is built in which automatically generates a thumbnail of the image when uploaded. The galleries can be edited or deleted as can images, images can also be moved into different galleries.
• The ability to adjust settings such as: number of news/articles/tutorials/images per page, meta tags, info-box HTML, menu HTML.
• The ability to create custom pages which may also contain their own PHP is also included.

Other Features

• Page titles based on the page the user is viewing.
• Integration with Invision Power Board.

The layout is table-less and is coded using valid xHTML and CSS. The website also works across all modern browsers.
